My Review:

In the end this book left me with more questions than answers. Now don't get me wrong, I am a complete sucker for a good werewolf story and this has all the potential to be one of those stories however, the plot after a while just sort of drags and drags on for no reason until it finally starts to pick up towards then end of the book when it suddenly ends with one of the worst cliff hangers I may have ever possibly read.

One of my biggest problems with this book is the main character Kat. Kat is a west coast girl who has lived out in California her whole life when suddenly and earthquake hits and her mother dies forcing her to move in with her Grandfather out in the middle of Arkansas. Before she moves all you know about her is that she wants to be a performer for Cirque Du Soleli. She has been training to accomplish this her whole life however when she moves out to Arkansas suddenly this is all forgotten.

Another big problem I have with Kat is that I find it very hard to relate to her as a character. To be very honest there were only two characters I liked in this entire book and that was Trick and Kat's Grandfather because the two of them are just awesome. Trick is the misunderstood high school outcast who somehow knows Kat's grandfather (they never really elaborated on that) and Kat's grandfather is like the crazy old man who lives out in the middle of the woods who would shoot you for trespassing on his lawn. I love the both of them. Honestly I would prefer the story to just be about the two of them.

The biggest problem I have with this story is Justin. Justin is supposed to be Kat's other love interest besides Trick. Trick makes a good love interest I guess when he's not being weird and moody. However Justin just comes out of nowhere and starts making out with Kat like it's not big deal. They know NOTHING about one another. I do not understand why Kat likes Justin in the slightest when she has Trick. It's just so frustrating to say the least.

Will I continue on with this series honestly I have no clue. I may just to see what happens to Trick and Kat's Grandfather because I do love the two of them. I'd also like to see if the next book would answer all the questions the first book left me with however I'm in no rush to read the second book in this series.
