As Juliet strives to stop a killer while searching for a serum to cure her own worsening illness, she finds herself once more in the midst of a world of scandal and danger. Her heart torn in two, past bubbling to the surface, life threatened by an obsessive killer—Juliet will be lucky to escape alive.
My Review:
I am so in love with this series!!
The second book starts up with Juliet trying to adapt to a normal life in London. She is trying her best to put the past behind her and forget everything that happened on her father's island which is proving to be very difficult after leaving so much behind.
Juliet soon finds herself with much bigger problems on her hands as the serum which she has been using for years to keep her illness in check suddenly begins to fail. Meanwhile a violent serial killer suddenly begins to wreck havoc upon London killing many people who are close or have had contact with Juliet in one way or the other. Juliet soon begins to fear that the killer may be an escaped creature from her father's island when the Killer suddenly begins to leave mysterious flowers on the bodies, Flowers that grew on her father's island.
This book had me on the edge of my seat until the very end. I had no idea what to expect. There were so many plot twists and surprises that it left me wanting more! This book continues with the Classic Gothic Novel feel to it which I simply adore!!
I cannot wait to get my hands on the third and final book in the series because this book series has been my favorite read of 2015 so far!
